Yes, this is assault and it happened right here in Oak Hill. From Fairfax County police logs:
13300 block of Glen Echo Circle, 2/11/12, 9:50 p.m. the victim was walking home when a vehicle came along side. An occupant in the car threw and egg hitting the victim. She was not injured.
