Little Hands on the Farm
Join us in the barn at Frying Pan Farm Park to meet a farm animal, enjoy a story, craft or game, and pretend to be the farmer with fun “chores”. Each program is different. The program for two to three-year-olds is offered from 9:45 to 10:30 a.m., and from 11 to 11:45 a.m. for three to five-year-olds. The fee is $6 per child. To make a reservation, call 703- 437-9101.

Just Jumper Horse Show Series

Putting the Animals to Bed
When evening spreads over Kidwell Farm from 7 to 8 p.m., it’s time to put the animals to bed. Children, ages three to six, bring your flashlights for this twilight tour to learn how our farm animals settle down at night at Frying Pan Farm Park. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Easter Eggstravaganza
Welcome spring with an egg hunt and an introduction to friendly farm animals at Frying Pan Farm Park Visitor Center. Make your reservation for noon, 12:45 p.m. or 1:30 p.m. for children four years and under. Please specify a second choice when you reserve. There will be a 2:15 p.m. hunt for youngsters, age five to seven years. A rain date is set for Sunday, March 21. The cost is $6 per child. To make a reservation, call 703-437-9101.

Watershed Clean-Up Day
Be part of the Potomac Watershed Cleanup! From 9 to 11:30 a.m. individuals, students, families, scouts and other community groups can help clean the earth’s arteries by collecting tires, bed springs, bottles, cans and other debris. Wear boots, old clothes and bring gloves. Trash bags and appreciation are provided. Call now to reserve a section of the watershed.
