Virginia Hunter Horse Show Series

Starting at 9 a.m. at Frying Pan Farm Park, classes include hunters, ponies, equitation and more. This event is held rain or shine. Spectators are free. For information, call 703-437-9101.

Sunday, February 7

Jumper Horse Show Series

Come to Frying Pan Farm Park at 9 a.m. to watch local residents compete for a blue ribbon in a variety of jumping classes. This event is held indoors rain or shine. Spectators are free. For information, call 703-437-9101.

Raise the Rafters Concert

Join Katy Benko and Julie Crosson on a journey through the roots of rock at Frying Pan Farm Park Visitor Center from 2 to 3 p.m. The performances are interactive and focus on the history, musical styles and artists of a particular decade. This family activity is suitable for children ages six and older. Admission is free. For more information call 703-437-9101.

Game Day

It’s Game Day at Frying Pan Farm Park Visitor Center for families and friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Before TV, Tivo and PSD, we played Monopoly, Dominoes, Backgammon and Parcheesi. Learn a new game or play your favorites. Admission is free. For information, call 703-437-9101.

Acoustic Jam

Come to Frying Pan Farm Park Visitor Center from 1 to 4 p.m. for a down-home jam session. Whether you’re pickin’, strummin or just listenin’ – it’s an old-fashioned knee-slappin’, finger-poppin’, toe-tappin’ good time! Bring your instrument or just drop by. Admission is free. Sunday Matinee Movie: Pinocchio

Don’t miss Jiminy Cricket, Gepetto, the toymaker, Figuro, the cat, and memorable Disney music during a matinee showing of Pinocchio at Frying Pan Farm Park Visitor Center from noon to 1:30 p.m. and again from 2 to 3:30 p.m. The Academy Award winning film, released in 1940, features the adventures of a little wooden puppet that longs to be a boy. Afterward, take a winter stroll and visit the many farm babies born in late winter. The G-rated film and farm visit are free. For more information, please call 703-437-9101.
